Building Science Technologist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Building Science Technologist to join our team in Regina or Saskatoon. As a Building Science Technologist, you will demonstrate sound knowledge and understanding of building systems, including general knowledge of structure, building enclosures, mechanical and electrical systems, roofing systems, interior elements, and site features.

A Day in the Life:

  • Conduct Property Condition Assessments
  • Perform Building Investigations
  • Develop Reserve Fund Studies
  • Prepare Technical Reports
  • Liaise with Clients and Contractors
  • Prepare Proposals
  • Develop Business Development Skills

Requirements:

  • Sound construction knowledge
  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Building Engineering, Architecture, or diploma in Architectural/Civil Technology
  • 1-3 years of experience in building assessments
  • Experience conducting Baseline Property Condition Assessments in accordance with ASTM Standard E 2018-15
  • Commercial Building Inspector experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products
  • Valid driver's license, insurance, and personal vehicle
