We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Toronto Motor Freight Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and driving straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail, professionalism in customer service, and the ability to work in a remote location.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Load and unload goods
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs
  • Perform preventive maintenance
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience
  • Ability to work in a remote location
  • Attention to detail
  • Large workload
  • Overtime required
  • Physically demanding
  • Repetitive tasks
  • Sitting
  • Up to 9 kg (20 lbs) weight handling
Work Environment:

This is a permanent position with 32 to 40 hours of work per week. The language of work is English.
