Job Description
The primary responsibility of this role will be to design product applications, create approval and production drawings, and support the sales and production cycle. Key tasks include:
• Utilizing AutoDesk Inventor to produce shop drawings for custom and standard tanks for fabrication
• Creating and maintaining a standard drawing database through AutoDesk Vault
• Assisting Sales teams from conceptualization to drafting and component selection to create build-to-order drawing packages for customer approval
• Reviewing changes related to build-to-order drawing packages as communicated through customer reviews of approval drawings
• Completing comprehensive drawing packages from approved drawings to production detail to ensure final products meet customer requirements
• Verifying that all drawings and jobs meet applicable codes
• Providing input to Quality Assurance regarding audits conducted as part of compliance with codes
• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to resolve day-to-day issues and ensure custom products meet required specifications
• Creating, maintaining, and entering data regarding bills of materials, routings, and part numbers in the ERP (SAP) system
• Networking regularly with the production department to ensure accuracy of engineered drawings
• Working closely with Master Schedulers to ensure work orders meet requirements
• Maintaining and following ISO 9001:200 engineering processes, procedures, and documentation
• Participating in production meetings and any other product-related meetings as required
• Cooperating with Buyers to ensure parts and materials meet specifications
• Participating in the maintenance of product manuals and instruction documents, and maintaining and updating those manuals and documents
• Providing technical information support to the outside sales team
• Collaborating regularly with and providing support to Customer Service and R&D
• Working with a sense of urgency to meet critical objectives and deadlines assigned by the Product Manager

Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in engineering technology, preferably holding a Certified Engineering Technologist (CET) designation. They should have 3-5 years of experience in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Additionally, they should be highly skilled in CAD software, particularly AutoDesk Inventor and AutoDesk Vault, as well as MS Office applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with keen attention to detail and the ability to interpret complex drawings and spatial concepts/relations.
