The Role
As a Technical Leader - Scalable System Design, you'll be responsible for providing technical leadership to our engineering team and working closely with engineering and product leaders to deliver best-in-class solutions to our customers. You'll solve ambiguous business problems and map them to elegant technical solutions using object-oriented concepts, algorithms, and data structures.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide technical leadership to our engineering team
* Work closely with engineering and product leaders to deliver best-in-class solutions
* Solve ambiguous business problems and map them to elegant technical solutions
* Use object-oriented concepts, algorithms, and data structures to build systems at Amazon scale
* Design, launch, and re-architect multi-tier distributed systems with large amounts of data
Requirements
* 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
* 3+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
* Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Preferred Qualifications
* 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
* Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
Estimated Salary: $143,000 - $183,000 per year
