Overview

As a senior member of the design team, reporting into the VP of Product, you will be a key contributor to defining the face and future of our global B2B and B2B2C enterprise software solutions. And you will be a key player in the extraordinary growth of our product and our company.


As an experienced design professional, you understand that design vs performance, aesthetic vs function, and creativity vs predictability are far from mutually exclusive pairings, but are instead the harmonies that make for a world-class, cutting edge product experience. You are an expert at facilitating and executing those harmonies, and you excel at doing your work in a fast-paced environment, on intellectually demanding solutions.


Alongside our Product Managers, and in tight co-ordination with the Engineering team, Product Designers are a central part of the creation process. You share responsibility for discovering and defining problems, and then empathically defining and designing solutions. The skills you have range from untangling technical challenges to applying the principles of human-centered design.


The ideal candidate enjoys and excels at working iteratively and collaborating with product managers, developers, testers and company leadership to create the best experiences for customers. You thrive in circumstances of uncertainty because it unleashes your most creative instincts, but you never lose sight of the need for standards and scalability. Your execution skills are just as sharp as your research skills, as you deliver a steady stream of wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to validate ideas and drive delivery at the highest standards.

Responsibilities

  • Design solutions for a broad variety of enterprise modules, administrative workflows, and consumer experiences
  • Optimize existing interfaces and design entirely new products from scratch
  • Drive team scalability and efficiency through strong digital asset management practices, expansion and administration of component libraries, and principles of atomic design
  • Facilitate and participate in a full spectrum of conceptual design sessions, product development cycles, and high-velocity prototyping for prospect/customer pitches of innovative roadmap products
  • Break down problems into their key flows and their many logical pieces and then build them back up into exceptional UX/UI solutions
  • Create sketches, wireframes, screenflows, prototypes, and presentations
  • Advise on and implement new process to help improve product delivery velocity and quality
  • Use your experience in UX research, interaction design & UI design to think outside the box
  • Closely collaborate with engineers and PMs to ensure that design intent is achieved
  • Advocate for the user throughout the design and development lifecycle


Skills and Responsibilities

  • 5+ years of experience in Software Product Design
  • Experience designing for both Enterprise/B2B and consumer-facing products
  • Proficiency in Figma and experience building out component libraries with the tool
  • Strong with process, both in defining and applying it
  • Excellent communicator, both written and verbal
  • Desire to continually learn and share knowledge
  • Team player and strong cross-functional collaborator who is comfortable working in an Agile environment for a digital product-based company
  • Motivated, self-starting individual who takes ownership and always knows how to hit the ground running
