Voyago is a reputable healthcare transportation provider seeking a skilled Patient Transfer Attendant in Kitchener, Ontario.

Your Role

  • Provide safe and efficient transportation of patients via stretcher/wheelchair to/from healthcare facilities, nursing homes, or private residences.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to clients and their families.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Work varying shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends, to meet the needs of our clients.

Requirements

  • Hold a valid First Responder Certification, AEMCA, or be working towards a Paramedic Diploma (must have completed Year 1).
  • Possess a valid CPR and First Aid (Level C) certification.
  • Have a valid G class driving license.
  • Be able to lift 250+ pounds using a stretcher or stair chair with a partner.
  • Communicate effectively in verbal and written English.
  • Maintain a clean driving record.
  • Obtain a clean Criminal Record Search with Vulnerable Sector screening.
  • Provide up-to-date immunization records, including MMR, DPT, Polio, Varicella, Hepatitis B, COVID-19 (two doses), and TB Skin Test (Step 1), valid within the last 12 months.
  • Have completed high school or provide proof of equivalency or post-secondary diploma.
