Senior Technical Artist Role at EA SPORTS

At EA SPORTS, we're revolutionizing sports gaming for millions of players worldwide. Our team in Vancouver is composed of diverse talent dedicated to creating on-ice experiences that connect gamers around the world through play.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Develop pipelines, workflows, and technology innovations used by content creators from our NHL team.
  • Partner with development teams to build shared and scalable solutions.
  • Assume ownership over technical issues and bring them to resolution.

You'll be working on runtime character & environment features, asset loading, live content support, content production tools, pipelines, asset optimization/integration, and workflows.

Requirements:
  • At least 8+ years of cinematic/games production experience.
  • A bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in a related field.
  • Effective communication with different audiences: artists, engineers, managers.
  • Proficient scripting/programming in Python or C#.
  • Experience with 2D/3D art packages such as Maya, Photoshop, Houdini.
  • Solutions-provider, especially in testing and debugging technical issues.
  • Experience with asset optimization challenges/techniques.
  • Passion for Games.

Compensation:

We offer a competitive base salary range in British Columbia: $115,100 - $161,200 CAN Annually. This is just one part of our overall compensation package.
