Position Overview
As the Lead Product Manager for Identity and Access Management (IAM) within the Sophos Central platform, you will be responsible for overseeing the development of services and user experiences that empower customers, partners, and Sophos product developers to effectively manage identities and control access to data and resources within the Sophos Central ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with management to formulate and implement a comprehensive IAM platform strategy that aligns with overall business objectives and market demands.
  • Platform Development: Lead cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver innovative IAM capabilities that meet customer requirements, ensure robust security, and promote interoperability within our ecosystem.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify customer needs, market trends, and emerging technologies in identity and access management. Develop clear user stories and acceptance criteria to facilitate effective development.
  • Roadmap Management: Create and maintain a detailed roadmap for the IAM platform.
  • Stakeholder Management: Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, executives, sales teams, and engineering teams.
  • Release Management: Plan and coordinate product releases, collaborating closely with engineering, quality assurance, and other relevant teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality releases while managing dependencies and mitigating risks throughout the release cycle.
  • Performance Monitoring: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for IAM features within the platform. Continuously analyze performance and customer feedback to identify areas for enhancement.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field. Approximately 5+ years of product management or engineering experience in building IAM or related products. Proven experience in preparing and presenting a technical roadmap to customers and management stakeholders. Familiarity with Agile development processes. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey strategy, technology, and trade-offs to customers, developers, and management.
