Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at Meat and Bread. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our kitchen.

About the Role:

This is a permanent full-time position working 30 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and possess excellent communication and leadership skills. You will be required to work effectively under pressure and maintain high standards of food quality and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules and ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies in a timely manner to avoid stockouts.
  • SUPERVISE AND COORDINATE ACTIVITIES OF STAFF WHO PREPARE AND PORTION FOOD
  • TRAIN STAFF IN JOB DUTIES, SANITATION AND SAFETY PROCEDURES
  • HIRE FOOD SERVICE STAFF BASED ON QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Evaluate and improve existing procedures to maintain high-quality food and service standards.
  • Develop and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Create effective work schedules to meet business needs.
Work Environment:

Our fast-paced kitchen environment requires strong organizational and time management skills. You will be expected to work under pressure and adapt to changing situations.

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $62,000 - $75,000 based on industry standards and location. We offer a competitive benefits package, including health and dental insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
