Neighbourly Pharmacy is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacy Manager to join our team in Saskatchewan, Canada. As a Pharmacy Manager, you will play a key role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the growth and success of our organization.
About the Role:
The Pharmacy Manager will be responsible for leading a team of healthcare professionals, providing clinical services, and ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy. You will work closely with our patients, staff, and other healthcare providers to deliver high-quality care and achieve departmental excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide safe and effective drug therapy and actively contribute to an environment of employee and customer engagement.
- Focus on clinical services, including medication reviews, disease state management, and patient education.
- Initiate care plans, follow up, and document patient progress.
- Administer vaccines and determine the appropriateness of drug therapy.
- Monitor medication adherence and collect relevant patient, drug, and disease information.
- Recommend OTC products and vitamins, and answer questions from patients that require therapeutic knowledge, clinical analysis, or assessment.
- Supervise a pharmacy student or a provisional pharmacist in the performance of restricted activities.
Requirements:
- Licensed and in good standing with the Saskatchewan College of Pharmacy.
- Certificate of Injection for Drug Administration.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and self-directed with the ability to work independently.
