Pharmacy Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Manager to join our team at Neighbourly Pharmacy in Saskatchewan, Canada. As a Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for providing safe, effective, and appropriate drug therapy, and contributing to an environment of employee and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Focus on clinical services, including medication reviews, disease state management, and patient education.
  • Initiate care plans, follow up, and document patient information.
  • Administer vaccines and determine the appropriateness of drug therapy.
  • Monitor medication adherence and collect relevant patient, drug, and disease information.
  • Recommend OTC products and vitamins, and answer questions from patients that require therapeutic knowledge, clinical analysis, or assessment.
  • Supervise a pharmacy student or a provisional pharmacist in the performance of restricted activities.

Requirements:

  • Licensed and in good standing with the Saskatchewan College of Pharmacy.
  • Certificate of Injection for Drug Administration.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and self-directed.
