Job Summary

Halton Healthcare is seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our clinical laboratory team, you will be responsible for specimen collection and processing, data entry, and other related duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and process specimens for laboratory testing
  • Enter data accurately and efficiently into laboratory computer systems
  • Support referral specimens and office duties as needed
  • Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure smooth laboratory operations
Requirements
  • Laboratory Assistant Certification
  • MLPAO/OSMT certification
  • 2-5 years recent experience in phlebotomy and a clinical laboratory setting
  • Knowledge of laboratory computer systems and medical terminology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Working Conditions

Monday - Sunday; Various rotating shifts; weekends & holidays (Hours subject to change based on operational requirements)
