Job Summary:

Halton Healthcare is seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of Biochemistry, Hematology, and Transfusion Medicine, as well as experience with routine automated equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct laboratory tests and analyze results to diagnose diseases
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure accurate test results
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide patient care and education
  • Stay up-to-date with new technologies and techniques in laboratory medicine

Requirements:

  • Current registration with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Ontario
  • Recent experience in a core lab environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
