At Alstom, we're working to transform the collective mobility of the Greater Toronto and Hamilton areas (GTHA) through the On-Corridor Works project. As part of the ONxpress consortium, we're hiring for hundreds of roles, including Configuration Management Interns.
Purpose:
- To support the Configuration Management team in managing various activities throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize data for configuration baselines and change proposals.
- Manage configuration and change management reporting and indicators.
- Assist in developing tools and automations to manage configuration activities.
- Coordinate and liaise with team members to achieve desirable outcomes.
- Ability to automate various configuration-related logs using scripting or software.
- Support other activities related to system assurance.
Requirements:
- In progress of obtaining a university degree in Engineering or IT-related technical discipline.
Competencies & Skills:
- Hands-on experience with any programming language (preferred in Python).
- Hands-on experience in Power BI.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Experience in handling reports and managing data.
