Job Title: Waiter/Waitress

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Waiter/Waitress to join our team at Brant Hotel. As a key member of our dining room staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints or concerns, provide menu recommendations, and ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Food and Beverage Service: Prepare and serve specialty food and beverages, present bills to customers, and accept payment.
  • Table Management: Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs, and maintain a clean and organized dining area.
  • Wine and Beverage Knowledge: Describe and advise on wine selection and other beverages.
  • Communication: Take orders, relay to kitchen and bar staff, and provide excellent communication with customers and colleagues.
Support for Newcomers and Refugees:

We offer support for newcomers and refugees with foreign credential recognition and diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment.

Support for Indigenous People:

We provide mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for Indigenous workers and cultural competency training to create a welcoming work environment.

Work Environment: 40 hours per week, English language, and a dynamic team environment.
