Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Waiter/Waitress to join our team at the Brant Hotel. As a key member of our dining room staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints or concerns, provide menu recommendations, and ensure that all guests feel welcome and valued.
  • Food and Beverage Service: Prepare and serve specialty food and beverages to customers, present bills, and accept payment.
  • Table Management: Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs, and maintain a clean and organized dining area.
  • Wine and Beverage Knowledge: Describe and advise on wine and beverage selections, and make recommendations to customers.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service and high-quality food and beverages.
Support for Newcomers and Refugees

We are committed to creating a welcoming work environment for newcomers and refugees. As a Waiter/Waitress, you will have the opportunity to support our diversity and cross-cultural training initiatives, and provide mentorship and coaching to Indigenous workers.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Language: English.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
