Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Dining Room Attendant to join our team at Brant Hotel. As a key member of our food and beverage service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverages.
  • Food and Beverage Service: Serve food and beverages, take orders, and relay to kitchen and bar staff.
  • Table Maintenance: Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
  • Menu Knowledge: Describe menu items, including daily specials, and advise on menu selections.
  • Wine Selection: Describe and advise on wine selection.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition and provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment.
  • Support for Indigenous People: Offers mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers and provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
