Job Title: Delivery Driver

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Delivery Driver to join our team at Miele Canada. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for transporting products to meet delivery deadlines, ensuring exceptional customer experience, and maintaining a safe and clean delivery vehicle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport products to meet delivery deadlines
  • Deliver appliances according to policies and procedures regarding delivery standards, damages, and health and safety
  • Check items on floor against daily delivery manifest, loading products and report any difference to warehouse supervisor
  • Conduct physical delivery of product
  • Pick-up and return appliances from customers to warehouse
  • Ensure exceptional customer experience and provide customer contact centre information to help resolve concerns
  • Comply with provincial safety laws
  • Maintain delivery vehicle, ensuring it is clean both inside and outside
  • Make sure handheld device is working properly and report any issue to the Manager
  • Be flexible with schedule to accommodate extended deliveries and/or traffic
  • Complete heavy lifting

Requirements:

  • One to two years of experience operating a 5-ton truck or larger
  • Furniture/appliance mover experience
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Valid driver's license and an excellent driving record
