Job Title: Delivery Driver

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Delivery Driver to join our team at Surecare Cleaning Services Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering various items and products to different locations, ensuring timely and efficient service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and Drive Vehicles: Safely operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, ensuring professionalism and courtesy to all customers.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring accurate and timely communication.
  • Task Management: Assemble, install, and set up merchandise/products, and transport and handle dangerous goods.
  • Logistics: Load and unload goods, use maps and other trip planning aids, and record trip information such as vehicle mileage and fuel costs.
  • Payment and Inspection: Pay and receive payments for goods, and perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle.
Requirements:
  • Certifications and Licenses: Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles).
  • Transportation Experience: Local and provincial/territorial transportation experience.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, overtime required, and ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, judgement, organized, reliability, and team player.
Work Environment:
