Job Title: Director, Commercial Asset Management

Apotex Inc. is a leading global pharmaceutical company that produces high-quality, affordable medicines for patients worldwide. As a Director, Commercial Asset Management, you will play a critical role in driving business outcomes through data-driven decision making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Formulate and implement a comprehensive data strategy aligned with the organization's overall business strategy
  • Collaborate with business users to identify use cases where data can deliver business outcomes
  • Engage with stakeholders to build trusted relationships and drive continuous improvement
  • Establish and enforce data governance policies to ensure data quality, integrity, and security
  • Stay informed about data privacy regulations and identify and mitigate data-related risks
  • Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans for data assets
  • Oversee the design and implementation of data management frameworks, including data architecture, data modeling, and data integration
  • Develop and maintain data standards, practices, and procedures
  • Oversee master data management initiatives to ensure a single, accurate, and consistent version of key data entities across the organization
  • Evaluate, implement, and manage data infrastructure and technologies
Requirements:
  • University degree in computer science, data science, analytics, or AI
  • 10+ years of experience in team leadership roles building and leading effective and high-performing technical, software, and engineering teams
  • Practical experience implementing data products and services
  • Strong understanding and hands-on experience of the data lifecycle from capture and storage to analytics, reporting, and archiving
  • Proven track record influencing a diverse set of stakeholders to drive business outcomes out of investments in technology
  • Capability to liaise with all levels across the enterprise on projects and ad-hoc requests
