Job Overview

Autodesk is seeking a Senior Product Owner to join our team in Toronto, Canada. As a key member of our cloud software development team, you will be responsible for working with scrum teams and stakeholders to create efficient, scalable, and integrated cloud workflows for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Translate business and technical requirements into workable backlog and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to prioritize and manage the backlog.
  • Paint a vision for short and long-term goals, inspire and motivate the scrum team, and recognize development progress.
  • Identify and document detailed conditions of satisfaction for user stories and manage the backlog to ensure incremental delivery of business value.
  • Participate in internal testing, engage with customers to validate deliverables, and drive product iteration towards long-term vision.
  • Create demos for internal and external stakeholders and communicate release plans, project status, and deliverables to stakeholders in both oral and written formats.
  • Measure success and identify continuous improvement opportunities using analytics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent.
  • 6+ years of product owner or product management experience on commercial web products.
  • Strong understanding of Agile and Scaled Agile development practices and tooling, as well as a broad knowledge of the full software development lifecycle.
  • Active listener with strong interpersonal skills and an open mind to work with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to present to large audiences and lead group activities.
  • Capable of prioritizing and managing time and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced, time-sensitive, results-oriented environment.
  • Knowledge and appreciation of cloud services, especially back-end services, is desirable.
