Part Time Intervenor to Support Individuals with Dual Sensory Impairment

Support Communication and Independence
Sensity Deafblind and Sensory Support Network of Canada is seeking a Part Time Intervenor to support individuals who are living with dual sensory impairment in their daily lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support individuals in their home and community environments.
- Use communication techniques to relay information and empower individuals to participate and be successful in daily living.
- Provide personal care as required, including lifts and transfers, toileting, personal hygiene, and medication administration.
- Assist with developing and supporting individual goals and objectives.
- Ensure documentation and records are complete.
Requirements:
- Completion of a college diploma or certificate in the Intervenor for Deafblind Persons program or a related human services field.
- Experience supporting persons with developmental disabilities and challenging behaviors.
- Communication in American Sign Language (ASL) or Signed Exact English (SEE).
- A valid driver's license, access to a reliable vehicle, and a clean current driver's abstract.
