About the Role

The Primary Direct Support provides leadership to a team of Direct Support Professionals, overseeing the caseload for clients participating in a specific program area and reporting to the Program Manager. They provide direct support to clients and liaise with families and community partners.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements
  • Post-secondary degree or a two-year diploma program, preferably in the Social Services field, with a preference to DSW, or enrolled in a related college or university program
  • Minimum of two years' related experience working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities in a residential and community setting
  • CPR, First Aid, NVCI
  • Must have an 'G' class license
  • Experience supporting individuals with Dual Diagnosis, Mental Health & Addictions would be an asset
