About the Role:
The Direct Support Worker is responsible for providing support and assistance to individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities, promoting their independence and person-centered care.

Responsibilities:
Provide support and assistance to individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities
Promote independence and person-centered care
Work collaboratively with the Primary Direct Support and Program Manager
Participate in professional development and training opportunities

Requirements:
Post-secondary degree/diploma in the social services field or related experience
CPR, Emergency First Aid, and NVCI certification
G license required for driving residents' appointments and activities
Experience supporting individuals with Dual Diagnosis, Mental Health & Addictions an asset
