About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plumbing Foreman to join our team at Enersolv Design & Build Ltd. As a key member of our plumbing department, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of our commercial and multi-unit residential plumbing projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate a team of plumbing apprentices to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
  • Liaise with project managers, site superintendents, and operations directors to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Manage the installation of commercial plumbing and hydronics systems, including foundation plumbing, sumps, and other related components.
  • Measure, cut, and thread pipes using hand and power tools or machines, and join pipes using various methods.
  • Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges, and manage the installation of bathtubs, shower drains, and finishing trim of fixtures.
  • Clean workspaces as you go, and perform other duties as assigned.
  • Ensure the timely remittance of all administrative aspects for all projects, and constructively analyze, assess, and troubleshoot to resolve issues and develop solutions.
  • Mentor junior apprentices to work more effectively, and participate in ongoing technical and professional training to continually develop your skills.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of plumbing experience, with a strong background in commercial and multi-unit residential plumbing projects.
  • Plumbing/Gas-fitting Red Seal Ticket, and Level 1 First Aid certification (considered an asset).
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) certification (considered an asset), and possession of personal hand tools for the trade.
