**Job Summary:** MSI is seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Truck Delivery Specialist to join our team. This role involves delivering natural stone products to customers in the local area, ensuring timely and safe transportation of goods.

About the Role: As a Heavy Duty Truck Delivery Specialist, you will be responsible for completing daily local deliveries of natural stone products by following CVOR regulations and safe driving protocol at all times. You will work Monday – Friday 8am-5pm, and alternating Saturdays. Your duties will include interacting with customers, maintaining a legal and accurate log book, and following safety procedures in all aspects of the job.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver granite, marble, and quartz slabs to customers in the local area.
  • Perform multiple stops and interact with customers during delivery.
  • Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and follow company guidelines for vehicle maintenance.
  • Responsible for reading the Bill of Lading and picking sheets.
  • In charge of positioning the blocks and ties, straps, chains, and binders for cargo securement.
  • Able to assist in loading, unloading, and securing of cargo.
  • Generate 137lbs of vertical push/pull force.
  • Able to lift and transfer 65lbs.
  • Able to carry at least 30lbs the length of the truck bed.
  • Able to ascend and descend multiple-rung ladder.
  • Able to frequently bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and/or crouch.
  • Able to work at elevated height of 72" above the ground while assembling and disassembling strap, ties, ratchets, nuts, bolts, and other securing or fastening equipment.
  • Able to work at lowered height of 6" above the ground while assembling and disassembling strap, ties, ratchets, nuts, bolts, and other securing or fastening equipment.
  • Perform various warehouse duties as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as required and or requested.

Requirements:

  • High School Education preferred.
  • One (1) year of verifiable driving experience.
  • One year of verifiable driving experience with heavy-duty vehicles.
  • Must be able to pass a skilled test (driving test).
  • Must be able to pass CVOR pre-employment requirements.
  • Bilingual a plus, but not necessary.
  • Must possess a Valid Class AZ CDL.
  • Driver abstract and CVOR report required.
