Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Health and Safety Administrator to join our team at Maple Lodge Farms. As a key member of our Environmental Health and Safety Department, you will be responsible for providing administrative support and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, including contractor information and safety statistics.
  • Assist in the facilitation of orientation for new hires and report on accident investigations.
  • Perform general administrative duties, including filing, data entry, and maintaining the Health & Safety board.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to food safety and quality.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of the employee health and safety recognition program.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Environmental Health and Safety or a related field.
  • Working knowledge of food and meat plant regulatory standards, GMP, HACCP, and other relevant regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in MS Office 365, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
