Human Resources Generalist Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Human Resources Generalist to join our team at Performance Food Group. As a key member of our HR team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support, ensuring compliance, and contributing to innovative HR practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support onboarding and facilitate new hire orientations to ensure a smooth transition for new employees.
  • Administer bi-weekly payroll for two locations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Maintain HRIS data, including new hires, status changes, leaves of absence, and promotions.
  • Provide employee relations support, including conducting investigations and addressing employee inquiries.
  • Coordinate employee training, employee awards, and other engagement activities to foster a positive work environment.
  • Conduct best practice surveys and assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Support HR processes across the organization, including performing other related duties as assigned.

  • Ability to effectively manage time and multi-task with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
