Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Train Staff: Train new employees in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
  • Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
  • Hire Food Service Staff: Hire and train food service staff, ensuring that we have a skilled and motivated team.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints or concerns, providing excellent customer service and resolving issues promptly.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, ensuring that we have accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit reports, providing management with accurate and timely information.
Work Environment:

The Restaurant Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and a physically demanding role. The successful candidate will be able to work under pressure, maintain a high level of energy and motivation, and provide excellent customer service in a busy and dynamic environment.

Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
