About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and driven Life Insurance Sales Advisor to join our team at Neilson Financial Services. As a Life Insurance Sales Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in helping individuals and families make informed decisions about their financial security.
Key Responsibilities- Client Relationships: Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional communication and end-to-end service.
- Needs Assessments: Conduct thorough needs assessments to qualify and recommend tailored insurance solutions that align with customers' unique needs and circumstances.
- Sales Performance: Maintain a goal-oriented drive to meet weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales targets.
- Product Knowledge: Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of our life insurance products and their benefits with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to clients.
- Compliance: Abide by phone calling compliance standards in collaboration with our Quality Assurance team for call monitoring purposes.
- Regulatory Requirements: Ensure all transactions and documentation comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Life License Qualification Program (LLQP): Must have an active LLQP with the ability to register in any Canadian jurisdiction.
- Authorization to Work: Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
- Customer Service Experience: Previous customer service and/or sales experience is required.
- Proven Track Record: Proven track record in sales, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with professional phone etiquette.
- Emotional Intelligence: Demonstrates a high degree of emotional intelligence to approach sensitive topics, such as end-of-life planning and provide compassionate support.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Detail-oriented, active listening, problem solver, patient.
- Adaptability: Quick learner who can memorize scripts and adapt to them when issues arise during a call and has a drive to succeed.
- Results-Driven: Results-driven with a commitment to achieving sales targets and thrives in a highly competitive sales environment.
- Growth Mindset: Possesses a growth mindset, with an openness to constructive feedback and an ability to adjust accordingly.
