About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our kitchen team at Resorts of the Canadian Rockies. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our dishroom and kitchen areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all equipment in the kitchens and dishwashing areas is clean and in good working condition, reporting any deficiencies to the kitchen management team.
  • Maintain adequate levels of cutlery, dishware, and glassware in stock and ensure timely delivery to all necessary outlets.
  • Ensure washrooms and lobby areas are kept clean and supplies are replenished as needed.
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols.
  • Support the kitchen team in achieving exceptional guest satisfaction and coworker relations.
  • Manage our sustainability systems, ensuring recycling and garbage are sorted and transported to the appropriate facilities.
  • Assist in cleaning, measuring, and preparing cooking ingredients and simple dishes such as salads.
  • Perform other kitchen duties as assigned by the kitchen management team.
  • Work flexible shifts with varying hours, between 24 to 40 hours per week, weather permitting.

Requirements:

  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Desire to learn and succeed in the hospitality industry.
  • Previous kitchen experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Food Safe certification or equivalent is an asset, but not required.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds, turn, and stand for extended periods of time.
