* Perform dental cleanings to remove plaque, tartar, and stains from teeth
* Take dental x-rays and assist with other diagnostic procedures as needed
* Conduct thorough oral examinations to assess the overall oral health of patients
* Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized recommendations for maintaining good oral health
* Administer local anesthesia and apply fluoride treatments as necessary
* Assist the dentist during procedures by handing them instruments and ensuring patient comfort
* Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including medical documentation and treatment plans
* Follow strict infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff

Requirements:

* Valid Dental Hygiene license in Ontario
* Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
* Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, oral health conditions, and treatment options
* Proficiency in dental assisting techniques and procedures
* Experience working in a dental office setting preferred
* Familiarity with CAD software, medical imaging systems, and patient assessment tools is a plus
