- **Position Overview**_
The Accounts Receivable Administrator is responsible to ensure all incoming payments are received and processed in a timely manner. This role requires the individual to keep a precise record of all incoming payments and to contact clients to ensure outstanding invoices are paid.
- **Roles & Responsibilities**_
- Complete project invoicing and progress payment tracking.
- Monitor project change orders.
- Calculate and report on project revenues.
- Course of Construction Insurance and job reporting for annual renewal.
- Assist Project Managers with purchase order and budget tracking.
- Tracking sheet management.
- Print weekly cheque runs.
- Update holdback reports.
- Track credit card purchases and complete statement reconciliations.
- Maintain billing system.
- Generate invoices and account statements.
- Perform account reconciliations.
- Maintain accounts receivable files and records.
- Produce monthly financial and management reports.
- Investigate and resolve any irregularities or enquiries.
- Assist in general financial management and analysis.
- Complete collection calls.
- Assist accounts payable as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
- **Education & Qualifications**_
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Post Secondary education in Accounting and Accounts Receivable is preferred.
- 1-3 years of Accounts Receivable or general accounting experience is preferred.
- Working knowledge of General Accounting Procedures (GAP) is preferred.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) is required.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
