Franchise Development Manager

As a key member of our team, the Franchise Development Manager will play a crucial role in driving the growth and success of our affiliated real estate brands. Reporting directly to the CEO, this individual will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive growth plan to expand our global footprint through franchise acquisition and sales.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute a strategic growth plan to expand our global footprint through franchise acquisition and sales
- Lead all franchising development functions, including strategic planning, recruitment and selection, market analysis, and alternative development initiatives
- Manage the franchisee selection process, including interviewing franchise applicants and assessing suitability through thorough due diligence
- Build and maintain strong business relationships with real estate business owners, brokers, managers, investors, corporate partners, and co-branding partners
- Develop and execute a marketing strategy to attract suitable investors globally
- Meet growth metrics on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
- Be accountable for achieving monthly lead and sales goals
- Develop a thorough understanding of our brand, goals, policies, programs, and tools
- Work with new franchisees to ensure they are adequately trained in procedures and best practices
- Regularly review franchisee performance against documented standards
- Build strong trust-based relationships with every member office, including owners, managers, brokers, and agents
- Develop and implement action plans to utilize strengths and improve areas of weakness in each office
- Provide regular support to each office and resolve issues before they arise
- Promote strategies for hiring, retaining, training, and developing brokers and agents
- Communicate with each office on a monthly basis
- Organize quarterly broker meetings
- Report to the CEO on the status of prospective franchisees, sales targets, existing offices, and plans to support and improve existing offices
- Provide field-level insights to corporate management
- Coordinate with corporate staff to resolve issues, improve the system, and grow sales
- Stay current on the system, industry, relevant technologies, and laws
- Monitor, evaluate, and analyze competitive activities and market trends to identify growth opportunities and avoid potential issues
- 3+ years of franchise sales and management experience, with knowledge of franchising law, regulations, and procedures
- Strong leadership, negotiating, time management, and organizational skills
- Proven sales closer with the ability to adhere to an established process and best practices
- Strong knowledge of strategic planning, brand management, and sales development
- Technology savvy, with working knowledge of CRM systems (Hubspot)
- Ability to communicate effectively through all channels of communication
- Ability to quickly build credibility and influence with various personalities
- Ability to lead with integrity, with a focus on winning with a collaborative approach
- Ability to utilize various tools to conduct deep and extensive due diligence
- Strong business acumen, analysis capabilities, and understanding of financial planning and budgeting
- Pragmatic and strategic thinker, self-starter, and born-leader
- Executive-level interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Ability to travel as required
- Ability to interface with clients globally
- Real Estate Broker license or minimum 3 years of brokerage management experience
- Knowledge of the real estate industry is essential
- International business development experience is essential
