Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Supervisor to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring that our restaurant complies with health and safety standards in Ontario. The successful candidate will possess strong knowledge of local and federal safety regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Health and Safety Programs

The Health and Safety Supervisor will develop and implement comprehensive health and safety programs to ensure compliance with relevant legislations, regulations, and industry standards.

Promote a Culture of Safety Awareness

The supervisor will promote a culture of safety awareness among employees, encouraging them to report any safety concerns.

Conduct Regular Safety Audits and Inspections

The supervisor will conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify, assess, and address potential risks.

Maintain Accurate Records

The supervisor will maintain accurate records of all safety-related incidents and reports them to the Ontario Ministry of Labour and other relevant agencies as required.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or Related Field
  • Minimum Three to Five Years' Experience in Health and Safety Management Role
  • Strong Knowledge of Local and Federal Safety Regulations and Standards
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills
  • Analytical Mindset with Ability to Quickly Identify and Address Safety Concerns

Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
