Opportunity Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sustainability Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our global sustainability strategy, with a focus on animal welfare and agriculture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Thinking: Develop and implement a comprehensive sustainability strategy that aligns with RBI's business objectives and industry best practices.
  • Project Management: Manage and execute elements of RBI's sustainability plan, including project management, facilitation, and execution of goals and targets.
  • Communication & Reporting: Track and report progress against work plans, including external sustainability commitments, to the Sr. Director of Sustainability.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge: Current and clear understanding of sustainability concepts, including environmental, social, and governance (ESG) issues, particularly those in the food industry.
  • Skills & Abilities: Excellent organization skills, with strong ability to multitask and ability to prioritize to meet deadlines, and re-prioritize as-needed.
  • Education and Experience: Undergraduate degree in relevant field, Master's degree in business, operations, sustainability or a related field a plus. 7+ years of relevant professional experience in sustainability at top-tier consulting firm, CPG, NGO working with business, a CSR/sustainability consultancy, or sustainability focused operations or similar role in the private sector, preferably restaurant industry.
