Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual with a background in engineering and inspection management to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of inspectors, reviewing reports, and ensuring accuracy and adherence to established procedures. They will also provide guidance, mentorship, and training to team members and evaluate their performance to ensure they meet department goals and targets.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead a team of inspectors in conducting site inspections, assessments, and investigations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  2. Review and analyze inspection reports to ensure accuracy and quality, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  3. Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure satisfaction with our services.
  4. Provide training and development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  5. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members to improve their performance.
Requirements
  • Degree in Engineering with P.Eng designation (or eligibility to obtain).
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in inspection management or a related field.
  • Working knowledge of boilers and pressure vessels, and National Board Commission (or ability to obtain).
  • Certificate of Competence (COC) required to perform jurisdictional inspections in Ontario (or ability to obtain).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
