About the Role:
As a Project Director, you will be responsible for managing a team of project managers, overseeing program management, and ensuring timely delivery of projects within budget and scope. You will also be expected to develop and implement processes to improve project management efficiency and effectiveness.
Responsibilities:
• Manage a team of project managers, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery
• Develop and implement processes to improve project management efficiency and effectiveness
• Collaborate with the Director of Program and Process Management to assess business needs and long-term product roadmaps
• Identify inter-project efficiency opportunities and facilitate resource conflict resolution
• Report on project status to stakeholders
• Manage individual contributor projects approximately 50% of the time
• Influence project management plans to balance business needs
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
• Represent the HCPO team in the Project Management Community of Practice
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
• 10+ years of combined product development, project management, and people management experience
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and motivate high-performing teams
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities, demands, and timelines
• Solid understanding of project management methodologies
• Leadership skills, including building career and development plans for employees
Salary Information: The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $160,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
