About the Role:


We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Vancouver Coastal Health. As a Registered Nurse in Long Term Care, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary health team.



Responsibilities:


  • Assist healthcare practitioners during examinations or treatments
  • Monitor patients and advise physicians of any changes in patients' conditions
  • Address and document symptoms and changes in patients' conditions
  • Collaborate with members of an interdisciplinary health team to plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate patient care in consultation with patients and their families
  • Deliver health education programs
  • Operate or monitor medical apparatus or equipment
  • Provide nursing care


Requirements:


  • Licensure as a Registered Nurse by provincial or territorial authorities
  • Experience an asset
