Job Summary:

The Alberta Health Services EMS is seeking an Advanced Care Paramedic to join our team as a Mobile Integrated Healthcare Coordinator. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating patient care and providing emergency medical services in a community setting. Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate patient care and provide emergency medical services in a community setting
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Develop and implement care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote healthy outcomes
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and services

Requirements:
  • Current registration as an Advanced Care Paramedic with the Alberta College of Paramedics
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support - Healthcare Provider certification
  • Valid class 4 Alberta Operator License or equivalent
  • Five (5) year driver abstract current within six (6) months with no more than six (6) demerits
  • Proof of successful completion of the Functional Abilities Recruitment Evaluation

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a community health or urgent care setting
  • Leadership experience
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to collaborate in an interdisciplinary team
