Cooking Up a Storm at Madras Masala South Indian Cuisine

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our team at Madras Masala South Indian Cuisine. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
  • Order supplies and equipment
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
  • Manage kitchen operations

Requirements:

  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience
  • Permanent employment
  • English as the primary language of work
  • 40 hours per week
