Shipping Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipping Supervisor to join our team at Truck Hardware Ltd. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the activities of our warehouse team to ensure seamless shipping operations.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and Supervise Warehouse Activities
- Oversee the daily operations of our warehouse, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Supervise a team of 1-2 employees, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their performance goals.
- Resolve Work Problems and Improve Productivity
- Identify and resolve any issues that may impact shipping operations, such as inventory discrepancies or equipment malfunctions.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity and efficiency in the warehouse.
- Train and Develop Staff
- Provide training and coaching to employees to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Develop and implement training programs to improve employee performance and retention.
- Coordinate Logistics and Supply Chain Activities
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to train and develop staff.
Our warehouse is a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and heavy loads. You will be required to work in a team-oriented environment and be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
