Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipping Supervisor to join our team at Truck Hardware Ltd. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the shipping and receiving operations, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate Shipping and Receiving Activities
    • Plan and schedule shipments to meet customer deadlines
    • Oversee the receipt and inspection of incoming goods
    • Ensure accurate and efficient processing of shipments
  • Supervise Warehouse Staff
    • Train and mentor warehouse staff on shipping and receiving procedures
    • Monitor and improve warehouse operations to optimize efficiency and productivity
  • Manage Inventory and Supplies
    • Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and compliance
    • Order and manage inventory and supplies to meet business needs
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams
    • Work closely with sales, customer service, and production teams to ensure seamless execution of shipping and receiving operations
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Work Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a shipping or receiving role
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Strong organizational and time management skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
