Key Responsibilities:

  • Determine the most efficient method of shipment and prepare shipping documents
  • Package goods for shipment and coordinate with transport companies
  • Load and unload transport trucks, and verify quantities of items received
  • Organize documentation in computer systems for received and shipped goods
  • Inspect incoming goods and ensure they are received in proper condition
  • Operate forklifts and telehandlers to load and unload trucks
  • Understand and follow safe work practices and company policies
  • Pick up ordered parts from suppliers and deliver them to customers
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 diploma with 2 years of related experience
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with supervisory staff, employees, clients, and suppliers
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to safely conduct the physical demands of the job
  • Ability to manage time and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Powered Mobile Equipment operation (Forklift/Telehandler)
  • Ability to work in various environments (hot/cold)
  • Current and Valid Driver's License – minimum Class 5 with the ability to drive a manual transmission
