Retail Store Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Edson Convenience Store. As a Retail Store Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a high level of sales performance.
Key Responsibilities- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they are adequately trained to perform their tasks.
- Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to ensure they have the necessary skills to meet the store's needs.
- Establish work schedules to ensure adequate coverage and minimize labor costs.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform management decisions.
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages, in a timely and professional manner.
- Organize and maintain inventory to ensure accurate stock levels and minimize waste.
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers to ensure efficient and effective store operations.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail or supervisory role.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
