About the Role

TOTEM Recruteur de talent is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Planner to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating maintenance activities for our assets, ensuring that they are carried out in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and Coordinate Maintenance Activities: Develop and implement maintenance schedules, taking into account resource availability, time requirements, and priority levels.
  • Resource Allocation: Identify and allocate the necessary human, material, and financial resources to carry out maintenance tasks.
  • Equipment Mobilization: Coordinate the deployment of mobile equipment within our network to meet operational needs.
  • Support to Local Teams: Provide technical support and guidance to local teams, serving as a resource for maintenance-related queries and asset utilization.
  • Risk Analysis and Procedure Development: Participate in the development of risk analyses and work procedures related to maintenance activities.
  • Process Improvement: Utilize your expertise to identify and implement opportunities for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: Diploma in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in the mining, construction, forestry, or agricultural industries.
  • Knowledge of Conveyors: Familiarity with different types of conveyors is an asset.
  • Office Software and Asset Management: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and asset management software.
  • Language Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English.
  • Planning and Management Skills: Strong planning and management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Teamwork and Adaptability: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Language Requirements: Fluency in English is required, as the company works with international clients.
