About the Role

As a key member of the Sid Lee team, the IT Operations Coordinator will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our global IT infrastructure. Reporting to the Vice President of IT, this individual will be responsible for managing supplier relationships, coordinating the purchase or renewal of hardware, software, and IT services, and ensuring the effective management of our IT assets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the inventory of computers, servers, devices, and licenses to ensure optimal utilization and minimize waste.
  • Ensure timely license renewals and maintenance of used software to prevent disruptions to our operations.
  • Coordinate the replacement and lifecycle management of hardware and software to ensure alignment with business needs.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to develop and manage IT budgets, forecasts, and purchase orders.
  • Provide technical support to the team in resolving issues related to IT assets and ensure prompt resolution of technical problems.
  • Assess new IT asset needs and coordinate the acquisition of necessary hardware and software to support business growth.
  • Develop and implement processes for IT asset acquisition, maintenance, and disposal to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.

Requirements

  • University degree in information technology or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT asset management.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills to effectively interact with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience in project management and Agile methodology is an asset.
  • Fluency in French and English, both verbal and written, to communicate effectively with international collaborators and customers.
