The ideal candidate will have a strong background in translation, with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a related field. You will be fluent in both English and French, with a deep understanding of common desktop environments and translation services procedures.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Translating business materials from English to French and/or French to English, maintaining alignment with Bank standardized terminology.
  • Monitoring and managing communication and translation requests in a responsive and timely manner.
  • Supporting the coordination of employee communications vehicles and events.
  • Managing a database of archived copies of translated files.
  • Maintaining consistency within communications by reinforcing national standards for templates and procedures.
  • Ensuring quality standards are met by proofreading, producing, and delivering final versions of documents.
  • Acting as a point of contact for internal stakeholders who require translation services.
  • Mitigating reputation risks related to language issues, acting in line with BMO's intent to comply with Quebec's legislation.

We offer a competitive salary range of $37,500.00 - $69,500.00, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, tuition reimbursement, and retirement savings plans.
