Job Description:

We are seeking a creative and motivated Digital Marketing Coordinator Intern with a passion for video production and content creation. As an intern, you will play a key role in helping us expand our brand presence on social media by developing engaging short-form videos and content posts.

This is a hands-on role that requires a strong understanding of current social media trends, video editing, and content marketing.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the social media and marketing team to brainstorm, create, and execute social media content that aligns with our brand voice and goals.
  • Produce, edit, and optimize short-form videos for multiple media platforms.
  • Assist in the planning and scheduling of daily posts across various social media channels, including Instagram, X, Facebook, LinkedIn, and others.
  • Develop content calendars to ensure consistent and timely posting.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices, and suggest new ways to engage our audience.
  • Monitor and engage with our audience on social media platforms by responding to comments, messages, and mentions.
  • Assist in tracking social media performance metrics and preparing reports to analyze the effectiveness of content.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with graphics and video editing software, such as Adobe Suite, Canva, or similar.
  • Currently enrolled in a recognized or accredited post-secondary institution throughout the duration of the internship, preferably in Communications, Digital Marketing, or other related disciplines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
  • Enthusiastic about social media.

This is an office-based job, located in Skeena's Corporate office in Vancouver, British Columbia, on a Monday to Friday schedule. The internship is four months long, running from January through April 2025.

Priority hiring consideration will be given to Indigenous Nations members who reside within the territories our projects are located.
