Key Responsibilities:

  • Requisition Food and Kitchen Supplies: Order and manage the inventory of food and kitchen supplies to ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet our customers' needs.

  • Train Staff: Provide training and guidance to our staff on their job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and customer service standards.
  • Estimate Ingredient and Supplies: Calculate the necessary ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation to ensure that we have enough stock to meet our customers' needs.
  • Hire Food Service Staff: Recruit and hire qualified food service staff to join our team.
  • Ensure Quality Control: Monitor and ensure that our food and service meet our high standards of quality.
  • Prepare Budget and Cost Estimates: Develop and manage budgets and cost estimates to ensure that our restaurant operates efficiently and effectively.
  • Address Customer Complaints: Respond to customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain Records: Keep accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to ensure that our restaurant operates efficiently and effectively.
  • Prepare Reports: Prepare and submit regular reports to management on the performance of our restaurant.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a restaurant or food service environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant.
